Moussa: Palestinians - Israelis agreement should be acceptable and balanced
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa said yesterday that the current peace negotiations in Washington could possibly reach an agreement, adding that Egypt is enhancing this agreement, regarding its great importance and that it should be acceptable, logical and balanced, especially because such an agreement would be able to save the Middle East from many disturbances.
Concerning the suggestion of an Israeli withdrawal from 13% of West Bank in return for not demanding a third stage of redeployment by the Israeli Army, Moussa said: "We know that the Palestinian side insists on reaching a complete agreement with comprehensive formula according to the American initiative."
Moussa emphasized that the Palestinian side will support their interests and will never sign a document that calls for its withdrawal or surrender.
