Moroccan - Chinese bilateral cooperation reviewed
A Chinese MP delegation is currently visiting Morocco where it conferred with several Moroccan officials, including Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi, on ways to promote bilateral relations.
The Chinese legislators examined with Youssoufi means to consolidate the Moroccan-Chinese economic and trade cooperation through the establishment of genuine and mutually beneficial partnership.
The Prime Minister told the MPs that Morocco drew teachings from the successful recovery of Hong Kong and Macau by China to propose to Spain objective solutions to the issue of Sebta and Mellilia, two northern Moroccan enclaves still under Spanish control.
The Chinese delegation, headed by Tomodu Amat, vice-president of the permanent committee of the national council of the Chinese peoples representatives, also held talks with foreign affairs and cooperation minister, Abdellatif Filali, and with speaker of the house of representatives (lower house) Abdelouahed Radi.
