Morocco to host international conference on Jerusalem in November
Morocco will play host on November 26-28 to an international conference themed "Jerusalem, a breaking-down point or meeting place?"
The conference, organized by the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Arab Parliamentary Union, will hear a number of papers dealing with the present socioeconomic and political situation in Jerusalem, and the peaceful religious co-existence which prevailed during the Islamic reign over the city.
The academicians will also look into the UN decisions relevant to Jerusalem, the role of peace sponsors in enhancing the Mideast peace process and the best ways of forging a peaceful culture and protecting the religious sites in the city.
