A message from Tunisian president to President al-Assad

Tunisian Foreign Minister Saeed Bin Mustafa arrived on Sunday in Damascus on a visit to Syria.

In an arrival statement to a SANA correspondent, he expressed happiness at visiting Syria. He added that this visit is made within the framework of consultations between the two countries.

He said he is conveying a message from President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali to "his brother President Hafez al-Assad."

"I will avail myself of this opportunity to present to Syria and to President Hafez al-Assad best felicitations on the occasion of the "October Liberation War and express Tunisia's appreciation for the achievements Syria has made in all areas," he concluded.
