Cairo: 1,401 companies established during 1998

The number of Egyptian companies established so far this year reached 1,401 companies of a limited liability among which are 498 joint stock companies.

A press statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Economy, said that the number of the companies that were established according to the system of the incentive investments reached 482, adding that the total capital of the joint - stock companies and that of limited responsibility companies reached 52.2 million pounds.
