Strategy of negotiations between the Palestine and Israel revealed
Signs that the Israeli - Palestinian strategic negotiations started to be criticized, in which it seemed that US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright succeed in convincing the two parties to adopt it.
Madeleine Albright succeed in convincing the Palestinians and Israelis to adopt a strategic view towards the negotiations.
This strategy calls for making intensive and balanced negotiations after reclassifying issues of conflict into three categories: those that are difficult, those that may have a possible solution, and those that could be solved in the trilateral summit that will be convened in the United States on Thursday in which President Clinton is to play a major role
According this plan, to which ArabicNews.com was informed of, the trilateral negotiations will address a security agreement, under the auspices of the head of the C.I.A. and security officials from both sides.
The point of dispute these negotiations face with is how to agree on the equivelancy (reciprocity) principle, upon which the Palestinian people insist, instead of making conditions called for by Israel (see references). Palestine wants to have similar claims and rights against Jewish terrorists as Israel wants against Palestinian terrorists.
In this matter, the Palestinians adhere to the security understanding note agreed upon by the three parties on December 17, 1997.
