Lebanese FM denies Turkish allegations
Lebanese Foreign Minister Fares Boueiz has denied Turkish claims that a camp exists for the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in al-Bekaa plain, in eastern Lebanon. At a press conference he held in Beirut on Monday, the Lebanese FM added: "There is no activity of the PKK fighters in Syria and Lebanon."
He described Turkish threats against Syria as unjustifiable and regrettable. He added that Lebanon is studying the possibility of convening a special meeting among Arab foreign ministers for an urgent Arab summit in order to challenge the Turkish threats against Syria and Lebanon.
