Syrian-Jordanian joint ministerial committee to meet in Amman

Jordanian Minister of Trade and Industry Muhammad Saleh al-Hourani said on Monday that the Jordanian - Syrian joint committee on the ministerial level will hold a meeting in Amman on November 16.

In a statement to the Jordanian daily al-Rai on Monday, al-Hourani added that he received a message from Syrian Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Muhammad al-Imadi on Sunday on holding the meeting on the ministerial level.

The Jordanian minister added that the meeting will concentrate on discussing economic relations between Jordan and Syria and means of developing them. He added that signed agreements will be reviewed, including the trade exchange accord and the possibility of sending invitations for the meeting of the joint higher committee, under the chairmanship of the two premiers.
