Turkey deputy PM says Turkey seeks peaceful solution with Syria
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Yulant Ajawid said on Sunday that his country seeks to reach a peaceful solution to its conflict with Syria.
The Turkish Anadolu news agency quoted Ajawid as saying that Turkey works to settle its problems with Syria through peaceful means and diplomatic channels, but it will "not give up any concessions concerning its rights and security."
Meanwhile, Turkish Premier Mesout Yilmaz was quoted as saying that Turkey intends to carry out military maneuvers along the joint borders with Syria, after the current NATO maneuvers in the region are completed.
The Turkish media, on the other hand, talked about huge redeployment operations of Turkey's forces and security measures in the region.
