Originally published

The Lebanese authorities prevented a Palestinian delegation from entering Lebanese territories by not allowing its members a visa.

It was supposed that this delegation would participate in the works of the Arab conference on implementing the work program of the International Conference for Housing and Development in Beirut.

The conference, which began on Thursday, will last for three days, during which participants from Algeria, Syria, Yemen, Tunisia, Oman, Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon tackled what has been implemented from the recommendations of Cairo conference, held in 1994.

They will also discuss measures that have been implemented in the fields of raising children, family regulation, motherhood, and housing policies, development and immigration policies, social sex issues, enabling women to participate in civil society, non-governmental organizations and developing mechanisms for following up on the recommendations of this conference.
