Meeting of US - Tunisian military committee on Monday

The US - Tunisian military committee will hold the meetings of its 16th session on Monday in Tunisia, under Tunisian Defense Minister Habib Ben Yahia and the US assistant defense minister for political affairs, Walter Slocum, in the presence of high-ranking officials from the two ministries.

The committee meets once a year in one of the two capitals to focus on review the program of bilateral cooperation in the security and military fields through the last year, the horizons for its development and expansion within new plans the committee is expected to recommend.

The sessions' meetings were to be held in May, but were postponed due to a US request.
