The fifth conference of the Union of Arab Pediatricians continued its activities on Wednesday in Damascus by discussing topics dealing with children's diseases such as Mediterranean fever, pharynx inflammation, asthma, urinary problems, liver and kidney inflammations as well as several other diseases.
The conference chairman Dr. Hani Murtada, who is also chairman of the faculty of medicine at Damascus University, told SANA's correspondent that the conference is but a good opportunity for Arab pediatricians to exchange expertise in dealing with common diseases.
He pointed out that all presented researches dealt with different topics in pediatrics, such as kidney, heart and breathing problems as well as protective medicine.
Such conferences, he added, will contribute to improving joint Arab medical research.
