El-Sherif said the Egyptian Businessmen Assembly is also to hold a meeting tomorrow with the ambassadors of European countries that are not backing Egypt's stance toward the issues of dumping and subsidies raised by the European Union against unbleached cloths, textiles and fabrics.

The assembly will also meet on Sunday with the ambassadors of the European countries backing Egypt's stance and the neutral countries to expand Egypt's base of support before the final vote on October 15 in Brussels, Belgium.

Meanwhile, official sources in the Egyptian foreign trade sector said today that the Portuguese minister of economy called for raising final dumping duties against Egypt, for dumping cotton products on the European market.

The Portuguese minister stated Egypt's "dumping" of cotton fabrics on the European markets is an unacceptable trade practice.
