Gulf States FMs to meet in Jeddah on completing integration
Foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states will hold meetings of their 68th ministerial session on Thursday in Jeddah to discuss developments in the Gulf, Arab and international arenas.
Sources at the GCC's general secretariat said on Monday that Middle East peace process developments in light of the current Israeli escalation of its settlement and Judaization policies in the occupied Arab territories will be at the forefront of the political issues to be discussed by the GCC foreign ministers.
The secretariat added that the ministers will also discuss the consequences of the US attacks against a pharmaceutical factory in Sudan and sites in Afghanistan.
The sources added that the GCC ministerial council will discuss several matters pertaining to completing the process of cooperation and integration between the GCC member states. It will also discuss convening the meeting of GCC ministers of finance and economy on Friday in Jeddah to become familiar with the arrangements by the GCC finance and economy ministers to set up the customs federation between the GCC's member states.
