Originally published

The manager of the Jordanian trade coordination bureau in Palestine, Abdul Fattah El-Kayed, announced that Jordan has decided to inaugurate a permanent trade bureau in Ramallah during the coming month to provide information and services to Jordanian businessmen and manufactures.

Jordan has a trade bureau in Gaza that was inaugurated in 1996 affiliated to the Jordanian export development and trade center, a government establishment.

El-Kayed said that a Jordanian trade delegation from factories for cosmetics and Dead Sea salts is currently setting up visits to the Palestinian regions in order to discuss the possibility of importing these substances to Palestinian areas.

He also stated that the Jordanian trade fairs held in Palestine helped the exports of several Jordanian products to the Palestinian market, such as electric tools, foodstuffs, food, salt, and detergents.
