Bahraini minister confers with Eritrean envoy

Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Muhammad Bin Mubarak al-Khaleifa met on Sunday in Manama with Minister of Local Government in Eritrea Mahmoud Ahmad Sherifo and members of the accompanying delegation.

The Gulf News Agency said the two sides reviewed means of boosting relations between Bahrain and Eritrea. They discussed several international issues, including current war Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Sheikh Muhammad stressed the need to put an end to the war between the two countries. He recommended implementation of peaceful means to reslove the issue, according to international norms and charters accepted by the two countries.
