Syrian FM confers with AL chief

Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa met on Monday with the secretary-general of the Arab League, Esmat Abdul Meguid, currently visiting Syria to take part in the Arab tourism ministers' first conference. Talks dealt with conditions in the Arab region, Israeli policy and measures so far taken on submitting the question of Jerusalem to the UN Security Council.
