Gaddafi criticizes Kohl's statements on Germany's responsibility toward the Jews

Originally published

Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, the leader of the Libyan revolution, condemned on Tuesday evening statements recently made by Germany's Chancellor Helmut Kohl in which Kohl said that Israel may consider Germany a sincere friend and that Germany is aware of its responsibility towards Israel as it has shown in the past.

Gaddafi said that these statements reflect the guilt complex still felt by Germany toward the Jews.

Gaddafi said that Kohl must differentiate between the termination of any group like the Jews by Hitler during World War II and the Palestinians' termination by the Israelis, as well as Kohl's support for occupying the Arab country of Palestine and banishing a whole nation from its land.
