Quiet prevails after conflict in Yemeni governerate of Hadramout
El-Makla city in the Yemeni governorate of Hadramout seemed very quiet after the confrontations witnessed over the last few days between demonstrators from opposition parties and security forces, during which two were killed.
Sources said that life has returned to normal in the city as citizens went to their work, yet the security forces still intensively patrol the streets.
Hadramout province has been the scene of disturbances since the Yemeni war between the socialist party and the Yemeni government which ended with the victory of Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh's forces.
