Algerian armed groups contingents cease fire
The Algerian daily al-Khabar today said that the armed group's al-Huda and al-Nour contingents announced halt of their armed operations in response to the truce made by the Madani Mirzaq group, prince of the so-called Islamic Salvation Army.
The paper said this announcement was made in a statement released by the contingent in Jijil province bearing the signature of its leader, Badis Abdul A'lla.
Meanwhile, the paper indicated that fierce clashes took place among the armed groups due to internal disputes over the leadership in Telmesan province. The paper added that the Algerian forces killed three members of the armed groups in an ambush against them in Jijil province.
Meanwhile, al-Aseel daily said Algerian security forces on Monday killed five armed men on Sedi Youssef mountain.
