Qatar-US military training begins tomorrow
Qatar's and US's armed forces will start on Wednesday 12-day "Gulf Hawk" military exercises.
The chairman of the Qatari general staff, Colonel Hamad Bin Ali el-Ataia, said that the training will be carried out in three phases. Each phase forms a complete training that covers the waters of Qatar, its atmosphere, and most of its land area.
He added that these exercises aim at training the joint forces to defend Qatar against any land, air, or marine attack against its territories, or its vital and economic utilities.
Qatar and the US are linked by an agreement for military cooperation.
