French Mirage fighter jets to Qatar

Qatar on Wednesday received four French Mirage-2000 fighter jets, the second batch of French warplanes Doha bought from France in 1994.

Qatari sources said the four planes landed at Doha air base in the presence of high-ranking officials in Qatar and representatives of the company that built the aircraft.

Qatar did not disclose information on the cost of the deal or a date for the delivery of the remaining planes.
