Sudan for a new constitution bill

Sudanese dailies on Wednesday said the Sudanese national conference on Tuesday approved the main provisions of a new constitution bill.

The new constitution will be valid as from June 30, 1998 after being approved by the national assembly and by the people in a general referendum.

The dailies stated that chairman of the Sudanese National assembly, Hassan al-Turabi, has proposed a bill which allows freedom in establishing societies and coalitions in the country.
