Resistance against Israeli forces sacred Maj. Gen. Says

Chief of the Security and Defense Committee at the Lebanese parliament, Major General Sami al-Khatib, said resistance against occupation is a sacred duty and a legitimate course for Lebanon to liberate its territory from Israeli occupation.

In a statement to Sawt al-Arab radio broadcast on Wednesday, Gen. al-Khatib said Israel is constantly violating the provisions of the April Understanding in terms of indiscriminate bombardment of Lebanese towns and villages. The shelling is carried out in collaboration with pro-Israeli Antoine Lahd's militia.
