South Lebanon ceasefire committee convenes tomorrow
The ceasefire committee in South Lebanon which is formed by virtue of the April Understanding will convene tomorrow in the city of Al Naqora. The committee will be headed by the French Loran La Pan and will study the complaints submitted by the Israeli and Lebanese sides.
The Lebanese government had submitted to the committee a complaint against Israel in regards to the Israeli forces' shelling of Lebanese residential areas in the villages of Al Tuffah province which nearly demolished a house, damaged the electricity network and damaged a public road between the cities of Gargoa and Aim Buswar.
The complaint file included photographs, videotapes, and proof that support the complaint and show Israeli responsibility for violating the agreement.
Israel, in turn, submitted a complaint to the committee in which it accused the Lebanese resistance of shelling the occupied city of Dabl which led to the destruction of one house.
