Israeli forces shell south Lebanese villages

Israeli occupation troops Wednesday before noon shelled with heavy artillery the outskirts of Jabal al-Bottum and Zibqin in the western sector of south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said artillery shells fell over populated quarters of al-Bottum town, adding that the bombardment hit al-Huqban hills. The sources said the shelling coincided with Israeli warplanes flying sorties in south Lebanon airspace.
