Mubarak confers with Schultz, Graham

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Sunday received US former Secretary of State George Schultz, currently visiting Egypt. President Mubarak also received a member of the intelligence committee at the US Senate, Bob Graham.

Following the meeting the US senator described the situation in the ME peace process as difficult and stressed the need to exert a greater effort to reset the peace process on the right track. The US Senator said that his current tour of the region, which will cover Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Israel, aims at discussing means of giving the peace process a push forward.
