Nasrallah pledges resistance against occupation

The Secretary General of Hizbullah Party in Lebanon, Hassan Nasrallah, said that presence of Syrian troops in Lebanon is a security need and a guarantee for national reconciliation and stability for Lebanon, which is always threatened by the Israeli invasion.

In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai- al-Am issued on Sunday, Sheikh Nasrallah described Syria's presence in Lebanon as legal and legitimate and said it will continue as long as reasons for its continuity are valid, noting that his party has decided to continue military operations against the Israeli occupation forces.

He added the Lebanese resistance en masse has decided to continue military operations against the Israeli occupation.
