French - Egyptian businessmen meeting will be held next month

The Egyptian Businessmen Association called upon Dr. Kamal El Ganzouri, the Egyptian prime minister, to attend the annual meeting of the Egyptian - French council, which will be attended by 120 major French companies interested in investment, commerce and different consultative works with Egypt.

The French side will be represented by the French Businessmen Organization, while the Egyptian side will be represented by an equivalent number of the Egyptian companies.

The head of the Egyptian Businessmen Association, Mr. Saeed El Taweel, stated that they have contacted the French side and affirmed its presence in Cairo at the beginning of the month to attend the meeting.

El Taweel said that the annual meeting of the Egyptian Works Council will coincide with the annual meeting which is organized by French economic counselors, a group of economic intellectuals who were chosen by France from a number of the countries it's dealing with. They chose Cairo to hold their annual meeting as a sign of confidence in the Egyptian economy and the success of its economic reform program.

He added that there'll be discussion of the possibilities for cooperation between Egypt and France in the common fields of economy, commerce and investment.
