Cooperation between Egypt and Belarus in various fields

Egypt and Belarus have discussed methods of developing commercial, economic, scientific and artistic cooperation between the two countries aiming to increase the volume of commercial exchange and economic cooperation between them.

The agreement was signed between the Egyptian of Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and the Belarussian vice foreign minister and his accompanying delegation, who are visiting Egypt at the invitation of the Egyptian fund of the technical cooperation with the commonwealth and the newly independent countries.

The Belarussians agreed to hold meetings of the joint committee between Egypt and Belarus for economic, scientific and technological cooperation soon to create an opportunity for the two countries' experts to discuss the chances for cooperation among them.

An official source in Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation declared that there are various opportunities in the fields of agriculture, medicine, metals, woods, chemicals, iron steel bars, cars, tractors, building materials, large industrial equipment, and paper.

The source said that they agreed on the importance of accelerating the completion of negotiations after a number of agreements that concern an increase of cooperation between the two countries.
