Finnish defense minister in Lebanon

President Elias Hrawi received Finnish Defense Minister Anneli Taina yesterday in Baabda, in the presence of her Lebanese colleague Muhsen Dallul. Taina is on a visit to Lebanon to examine the Finnish detachment in the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

Taina then met with speaker Nabih Berri in Nejmeh Square. Their discussion centered around the UNIFIL's mission, the peace process and the situation in the South. After the meeting, the Finnish minister stated that the situation is very complex
