Algerian government says election results are just

Reactions towards the results of the Algerian election varied as some accused the Algerian government of forging them, while others cited this election as a haven through which Algeria will get out of its crisis.

Commenting on the results of the Algerian election, Algerian Minister of Education Habib Hamrawy confirmed that those who won the recent election represent the majority who are trying to save the country during its multifaceted crisis.

The Minister of Information said that the Algerian people chose different political beliefs to guide their lives and opted for the election and the political parties instead of opting for those who hold the banners of violence and terrorism in Algerian.

The Minister of Information said that the local election held in Algeria ended the idea that one party could dominate the authority in Algeria which has been there for years. Election in all the countries of the world even in Britain produce winners and losers, he said. Algerian today has a multiparty political life. "The more we increase democracy the more we will defeat violence and terrorism," he said.
