Arafat repeats accusations against Israelis

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat reiterated that Israelis intend to kill Palestinian leaders whose names are on an alleged Israeli hit list--including himself and some of his close advisors--but he said that they will not succeed in doing so.

After his visit to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Arafat stated that the situation is much better, and that American Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will soon be able to visit the region, after she postponed her visit several times because of the circumstances.
