Israel denies preparing assassination list

Originally published

Israel denied yesterday Palestinian accusations saying that it has prepared a list of names of Palestinian leaders, including Yasser Arafat and his counselors, with the intention of assassinating them.

According to Mr. Ghassan Shakaa, the Palestinian mayor of Nablus, there is irrefutable proof that Israel wanted to execute the persons whose names supposedly figured on the list, and the most remarkable among them are Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, his counselor Mahmoud Abbas, and Intisar Al-Wazir, the social affairs minister.

Netenyahu's press advisor of declared that this accusation is just a way to provoke panic and catch the attention and to hide Palestinians' passivity toward terrorists. "We have the right to pursuit terrorists all over the planet, and not only in the Palestinian territories, it's provided for in Oslo Accord," he added.
