Arab media chiefs have agreed on a new decision to set up media support for Arab issues, information minister Safwat El Sherif said yesterday.

Sherif, who was speaking to report after the closing session of Arab ministers of information meeting in Cairo, said that the decision of the media chiefs covered all political aspects of the Arab issues.

Sherif said that a higher committee was formed to regulate cooperation among Arab channels.

"This committee has met several times and made several recommendations to commit to an Arab media code of honor" he said.
