Tamimi: Israel breaches international & human law against the Palestinians

Originally published

Islamic Chief Judge Sheikh Tayssir Tamimi affirmed that Israel breaches international and human law in the Palestinian Territories.

In a speech before a forum held in Geneva under the title "Cooperation for Human Rights," Tamimi also stated that Israel is daily violating the Islamic and Christian holy shrines in Jerusalem, Hebron and Bethlehem, denouncing the collective punishment and suspension of aid against the Palestinian people for his democratic choice in elections.

He called upon international community to support the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and to reconsider their stances regarding suspension of aid, warning at the same time against a humanitarian catastrophe in the Palestinian Territories.

Meantime, a Palestinian was killed Monday morning by an Israeli artillery shell, east of Gaza City, medical and security sources said.

Medics reported that the citizens' body, that has not identified yet, was found to the east of the Martyrs Cemetery hit with shrapnel all over his body.

Security sources said that Israeli artillery bombarded agricultural and nearby populated areas in the east and north of the Gaza Strip, causing damage to property as well as spreading a state of fear and panic among children.
