Assafir: Muqtada al-Sader visits Lebanon

Sources close to Iraqi Shiite religious and political leader Muqtada al-Sader told the Lebanese daily Assafir in its today's issue that he will visit Syria and Lebanon within the few coming days.

The Assafir report said "The sources quoted a report issued by the Washington Post on Tuesday saying that al-Sader had actually visited Beirut and met with the secretary general of the Lebanese Hizbullah party Hassan Nasrullah."

The Assafir added "The same sources said that al-Sader is still currently in Iran where he continues his visit since several days, adding that al-Sader will be visiting Syria and Iran within the few coming days."
