Egyptian contacts to maintain Syrian-Lebanese stability

In statements to the US Sawa Radio, Ambassador Suleiman Awwad, Egyptian Presidential Spokesman, has announced that President Hosni Mubarak is exerting great efforts for best possible means for ensuring Syria's cooperation with the UN Investigation Commission into Hariri's assassination.

An official source in Cairo said Egypt and Saudi Arabia are exerting efforts to avoid the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad having to be interrogated by UN investigators.
