Preparation for the fourth round of the Egyptian-Sudanese

Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif held ministerial meeting to prepare for the fourth round of the Egyptian-Sudanese Joint Committee to be held Saturday aiming at activating cooperation programs between the two states.

Nazif instructed all ministries to concentrate and be realistic in choosing the projects and the themes to be referred to the committee's meeting, said Cabinet spokesperson Magdi Radi.

He added that the meeting is expected to focus on mechanisms of augmenting trade exchange and investments, boosting cooperation between Egyptian and Sudanese companies to set up joint ventures particularly in the fields of health, mining, roads, transportation, ports and land reclamation. Means to operationalize the four-freedom agreement between Egypt and Sudan will also be discussed.
