Talabani voices appreciation over Syria's stance

Iraqi President Jalal Talabani voiced great appreciation over Syria's stances towards the Iraqi people saying "Syria has done many favors for us, and we have gained the Syrian leadership's support and help.."

Talbani added in a statement published Thursday that he described Syria as his first country and he has good relations with it, asserting that he did not change his policy towards it. Iraqi President criticized the baseless accusations against Syria which have been fabricated by some newspapers that aim to create Iraqi anger towards Syria.
