Syrian official source denies a deal with the USA

An official source at the Syrian Foreign Ministry on Sunday said that what is being circulated by some mass media of information on Syrian-American contacts to strike a deal regarding controversial issues which negatively affect bilateral relations are baseless.

The source added that it is out of question for Syria to strike deals. Syria is willing that a constructive and objective dialogue is established with the US to reach common grounds that could establish a basis for positive relations between the two countries to achieve stability and security in the region.
