A-Qassma threaten to convert the security strip into another Shabaa Farms

Groups of Ezz Eddine al-Qassma, the military wing of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas, threatened to convert the so-called buffer zone Israel wants to establish in north of Gaza to a place of horror and destruction.

In a statement, the group said that this security zone will be converted into another Shabaa farms in the back of the Israeli occupation, in remarks to the occupied part in south Lebanon which are still attacked by the Lebanese Hizbullah party.

The security zone will be extended inside the Palestinian territories at a depth of 150 meters, separating the sector from the so-called green line by an electronic fence.

Nevertheless a spokeswoman for the Israeli defense ministry said that this buffer zone is inside the Israeli side.

The Palestinian Authority deplored the Israeli decision. The Palestinian minister of planning Ghassan al-Khatib considered that Israel is still an occupation force and acts in this manner." The Palestinians also consider that the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon extended before the UN "a misleading address" when he announced his support for a Palestinians state while he continues building of Israeli settlements. Ghassan al-Khatib considered Sharon's speech as lacking credibility "because of the unilateral action and continued settlements."
