Vague explosion kills, injures four Palestinians in Nablus
Two Palestinians were killed and other two injured in a vague explosion inside a military camp east of Nablus today morning. News reports in Ramullah said that the reason for the explosion is an unexploded shell from the remains of industries for the Israeli occupation army or the settlers, noting that the area situated south west of Jenin are the most to have witnessed such incidents.
The Palestinian security forces started immediately investigations into the incident.
Meantime, al-Aqsa martyrs group of the Fatah movement and Saraya al-Quds of the Islamic movement claimed in a joint statement the blowing up operation which took place in Beer Sheba, south of Israel, on Sunday morning. The statement said that the operation came as a reaction to the massacre of Toulkarem camp and Shillo settlement, and in reaction to the statement made by the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon to deploy his soldiers at crossings in Gaza, as well as a response to the annexation of the Palestinian lands in Jerusalem.
While the statement did not specify the identity of the executor of the operation, one unidentified person said in a telephone call with the news agency AFP that the executor of the operation is called Ayman Zaaqiq, 25 years old, and that he is from the Islamic Jihad movement from Beit Omar village near Hebron.
Some 20 Israelis were injured on Sunday morning when one Palestinian blew up himself in the central bus station in Beer Sheba in the first Palestinian operation inside Israel since the evacuation of the Jewish settlements from Gaza.
Immediately after that, Israel announced the state of alert in the lines of its security forces. It said that it had arrested one Palestinian suspected to have taken the executor of the operation.
