Originally published

The African peace negotiator Salem Ahmad Salem called on the two rebel movements in Darfur to unify their ranks to ensure the success of Abuja negotiations which will be resumed in two weeks.

The spokesman for Ahmad Salem, Nour eddine Mazni, said following talks he had made with the African mediator in Darfur with the two rebels movement in Darfur, The Sudan Liberation Movement and al-Adel Wal-Musawat, that internal division makes reaching peace a very difficult matter.
