Arab Journalists condemn assassination of American journalist in Iraq

The Arab Journalists Union has condemned the assassination of the American Journalist Steven Vincent in the city of Basra in Iraq. In a statement issued Thursday, the Union stressed rejection to the killing, kidnapping and detention of journalists at anytime or any place regardless of their nationalities or religions.

It also called on the Iraqi government to protect and ensure security to the Iraqi journalists and those who are working in Iraq.
