Zapatero's project on cvilizations alliance
Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero announced that the Britain-backed Spain-promised project of the "Alliance of Civilizations" which gathers Muslims and Westerners against terrorism will be held in November.
Zapatero stressed during a meeting with Spain Monarch, Juan Carlos, overnight that Spain will host the first meeting in Baleares islands, east of the country. British Prime Minister Tony Blair met with Zapatero last week where he supported the proposal during the UN General Assembly's September meetings on the rapprochement between the Western world and the Islamic and Arab.
