Akhbar el-Yom: No foreign elements involved in Sharm blasts
Egypt's Assistant Interior Minister Major General Mohammed Sharawi said that the land and the sea routes in Sharm el-Sheikh are now under tight security control to avoid recurrence of any acts of terror.
In a statement to Akhbar el-Yom newspaper, Sharawi said there are no foreign elements involved in Sharm bombings. He added that the information on the involvement of two Egyptian brothers in the bombings is not true.
Sharawi denied any negligence by the security agencies in Sharm City. He dismissed reports on receiving previous warnings on the blasts and that police had aborted several terrorist attempts.
Meantime, the security agencies didn't impose any emergency measures to provide comfort for the tourists.
