Iraqis open fire at the Kuwaiti lands

A Kuwaiti official announced yesterday that Iraqi demonstrators protesting a steel and iron barrier built by the Kuwaiti authorities along the borders of the two states opened fire on Wednesday towards the Kuwaiti territories, but no casualties were reported.

The official explained that some 40 Iraqi demonstrators were demonstrating at the Iraqi side of the border opened the fire, stressing that the Kuwaiti forces positioned on the border did not react to the fire sources.
