President al-Assad receives Russian minister

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received at the People's Palace on Sunday Russian Regional Development Minister Vladimir Yakovelv and an accompanying delegation.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the friendship relations and the bilateral cooperation between Syria and Federal Russia as well new economic and tourist projects scheduled to be established between the two countries.
