Syrian defense minister in Qatar

Syria's Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, and Minister of Defense Gen. Hasan Tourkamni on Sunday started an official visit to Qatar.

During the visit Tourkmani will discuss the military relations of cooperation and coordination between the two states. "This visit comes in the frame work of the fraternal ties that connect Syria and Qatar," he told reporters upon arrival.
